Expands the definition of "police officer" under the Nevada Occupational Diseases Act to include school police officers, juvenile probation officers, bailiffs and deputy marshals of municipal courts, city/town marshals and deputy marshals, and all category I, II, and III peace officers

Extends benefits to newly included officers: industrial insurance coverage, exemption from grand/trial jury service, temporary disability compensation, and eligibility for group insurance programs for surviving spouses and children

Appropriates $3,235 for FY 2025-2026 and $8,129 for FY 2026-2027 to the Department of Public Safety for annual physicals for the Chief Parole and Probation Officer and Capitol Police Division officers

Exempts local governments from NRS 354.599 limitations regarding additional expenses related to implementing this act

Definition expansion takes effect July 1, 2026; appropriation provisions take effect July 1, 2025
