Urges Congress to extend the Social Security Fairness Act (signed January 5, 2025) to apply retroactively from December 2013 forward, rather than the current December 2023 effective date

The Social Security Fairness Act repealed the Government Pension Offset and Windfall Elimination Provision, benefiting more than 2 million government employees and retirees nationwide

Nevada beneficiaries affected by the Windfall Elimination Provision (up to 11.8% of state recipients) are expected to receive increases of up to $558 per month; those affected by the Government Pension Offset will receive increases of $700 to $1,190 per month

Recipients are expected to receive approximately $4,320 in backdated payments for January 2024 through December 2024

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and Nevada's Congressional Delegation
