Payment plans for court-ordered fines, fees, and other monetary penalties cannot require defendants to pay interest or any fees charged specifically for entering into the payment plan; this prohibition does not apply to restitution amounts

Courts are prohibited from ordering indigent defendants who receive court-appointed attorneys to pay any portion of the expenses incurred by the county, city, or State for their legal representation

Repeals existing Nevada statutes (NRS 178.3975, 178.398, 178.39801, and 178.39802) that previously authorized courts to recoup indigent defense costs from defendants

Courts may adopt rules and procedures to implement the payment plan provisions
