Creates a new "behavioral health and wellness practitioner" license under the Board of Psychological Examiners for professionals who provide supervised prevention and intervention services for mental and behavioral health issues, requiring a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services or related field plus completion of an approved educational program

Requires Medicaid to cover behavioral health promotion and prevention services provided by licensed behavioral health and wellness practitioners, with $68,705 in state funds and $115,171 in federal funds allocated for Fiscal Year 2026-2027

Allocates up to $6,424,960 from the Fund for a Resilient Nevada during the 2025-2027 biennium to establish educational programs at UNR, UNLV, and Great Basin College for behavioral health practitioners, create an accredited child psychology internship program, and fund scholarships

Establishes a temporary Behavioral Health and Wellness Practitioner Advisory Group to assist the Board through December 31, 2028, and sets maximum license fees at $200 for initial licensure and $200 for triennial renewal

Practitioners must work under supervision of a psychiatrist, advanced practice registered nurse with psychiatric training, psychologist, clinical professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker; unlicensed practice is a gross misdemeanor
