Department of Motor Vehicles must design and issue special license plates indicating support for Nevada State University for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, with fees of $35 for initial issuance and $10 for renewal

Additional fees of $25 for initial issuance and $20 for renewal must be deposited with the State Treasurer and distributed quarterly in equal amounts to Nevada State University athletics programs and the Nevada State University Foundation's program providing food, school supplies, clothing, and hygiene products to students, faculty, and staff

Plates are exempt from standard special license plate requirements including DMV approval process, the 30-design limit on special plates, and the 1,000-application minimum threshold before issuance

Plates may be combined with personalized prestige plates for additional fees, cannot be issued for full trailers or semitrailers, and have a $10 replacement fee

Act becomes effective July 1, 2025
