Ratifies Nevada's entry into the Great Plains Wildland Fire Protection Compact (approved by Congress in 2007), enabling mutual aid for forest fire prevention and control with South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, and adjoining states

Ratifies Nevada's entry into the Northwest Wildland Fire Protection Agreement (approved by Congress in 1998), enabling cooperation with Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon Territory

Firefighters providing aid to other member states receive the same powers, rights, privileges, and immunities as employees of the receiving state, except the power of arrest

States receiving aid must reimburse assisting states for personnel costs, equipment expenses, and any damage incurred; sending states are not liable for acts or omissions while rendering aid

Ratification becomes effective when the Governor declares Nevada has been approved for entry into each compact; withdrawal requires 6 months notice (Great Plains) or 60 days notice (Northwest)
