Prohibits HOAs, unit owners who rent their property, and landlords from banning the display of religious or cultural items in areas residents have exclusive right to occupy, including entry doors and doorframes

Limits protected displays to 36 by 12 square inches maximum, and excludes items that threaten public safety, hinder door operation, violate laws, promote discrimination, or contain obscene content

Requires 7 days written notice before temporarily removing religious/cultural items for maintenance work, with items to be stored respectfully and returned within 72 hours after work completion

Allows associations and landlords to adopt reasonable rules restricting the placement and manner of displays, and awards attorney's fees and costs to the prevailing party in enforcement actions

Effective July 1, 2025, with existing contrary provisions in HOA documents and rental agreements rendered void; landlords and unit owners must update policies by October 1, 2025
