Board of Wildlife Commissioners must adopt regulations requiring the Department of Wildlife to issue salvage permits allowing people to collect wildlife killed by vehicle collisions or other incidental events

No fee may be charged for salvage permits

Commission may prohibit issuance of salvage permits if any wildlife in Nevada tests positive for chronic wasting disease

Salvage permit holders are exempt from existing prohibitions on possessing wildlife without proper tags and possessing wildlife during closed seasons
