Creates a new penalty tier for organized retail theft when aggregated value reaches $50,000 or more within 120 days: 3-20 years imprisonment and up to $30,000 fine

Maintains existing penalty structure for thefts valued at $3,500-$10,000 (1-10 years, up to $10,000 fine) and $10,000-$50,000 (2-15 years, up to $20,000 fine)

Organized retail theft remains a category B felony requiring mandatory restitution in addition to imprisonment and fines

Effective immediately upon passage and approval
