Lowers the GPA requirement for the State Seal of Financial Literacy from 3.25 to 3.0 (or from 3.85 to 3.0 weighted) on a 4.0 scale

Expands financial literacy proficiency demonstration options to include: earning a grade of B or higher in a college-level or dual credit course, scoring at least 85% on a Department of Education financial literacy assessment, or completing a test/exam/project from career and technical student organizations like FBLA or DECA

Requires students to earn at least 3 credits in career and technical education, mathematics, or social studies courses related to financial literacy (previously any subject area providing financial literacy instruction)

Extends mandatory financial literacy instruction from grades 3-12 to kindergarten through grade 12

Requires school districts and charter schools to provide professional development training on financial literacy to teachers of K-12 students (previously grades 3-12)
