Department of Education must develop a school climate survey to evaluate working conditions for public school staff and an exit/transfer survey for teachers who transfer, resign, or are dismissed

School district boards of trustees must administer the school climate survey to all staff annually and the exit/transfer survey to departing teachers

School districts must submit survey summary reports to the Department by December 1 each year, including raw data if requested

Department must publish a statewide summary report on its website by February 1 each year

Contains an unfunded mandate for local governments; effective July 1, 2025
