Requires the Administrator of the Division of Industrial Relations to establish regulations for employer measures to reduce employee exposure to wildfire smoke when air quality index reaches 150-199 and 200 or more, including an AQI threshold prohibiting outdoor critical tasks

Mandates employers establish a communications system to notify employees when AQI reaches 150 or more during their shift and allow employees to report poor air quality exposure and related symptoms such as asthma attacks, difficulty breathing, or chest pain

Requires training standards for employees who work outdoors and may be exposed to wildfire smoke, including information on employer requirements and risks of not using personal protective equipment

Exempts mine operators, employers of commercial truck drivers, emergency services providers, and employers with 10 or fewer employees from these requirements

Effective January 1, 2026, with rulemaking authority effective upon passage and approval
