Chair and Vice Chair of the Sunset Subcommittee of the Legislative Commission will be appointed by the Chair of the Legislative Commission rather than elected by voting members of the Subcommittee

Eliminates the requirement for professional and occupational licensing boards to submit quarterly reports to the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau on petitions for criminal history review of potential applicants

Repeals NRS 232B.237, which required the Sunset Subcommittee to review licensing boards and regulatory bodies to determine whether criminal history restrictions on license applicants are appropriate

Licensing boards must continue submitting quarterly reports on disciplinary actions, license statistics, application processing times, and denial reasons, but criminal history petition data is no longer required
