Peace officers called as witnesses in internal investigations must receive written notice at least 48 hours before being required to appear for an interview.

Written notice to officers who are subjects of investigations must now include specific details: the alleged acts or omissions constituting misconduct, plus the date, time, and location of the alleged misconduct.

If the date, time, or location of alleged misconduct is unknown, the notice must explicitly state that information is unknown.

When multiple allegations of misconduct exist, the summary must describe each allegation separately.

Amends NRS 289.060 governing law enforcement agency investigations of peace officers under NRS 289.057.
