Expands the definition of "punitive action" against peace officers to include denial of increases in seniority or compensation for purposes of punishment, in addition to existing categories (dismissal, demotion, suspension, salary reduction, written reprimand, transfer)

Prohibits law enforcement agencies from denying a peace officer an increase in seniority or compensation during an ongoing investigation, unless the investigation may lead to dismissal or demotion

Maintains existing prohibition against suspending peace officers without pay during investigations until all related investigations have concluded

Allows collective bargaining agreements to provide otherwise regarding these protections

Amends NRS 289.010 and NRS 289.057 to implement these expanded peace officer protections
