Companies that cancel contracts due to defective systems are prohibited from charging customers any penalties, fees, forfeiture of deposits, or additional costs

Violations constitute a deceptive trade practice under NRS 598.0903 to 598.0999, subjecting companies to existing civil and criminal penalties

Applies to contracts entered into on or after October 1, 2025
