Director of the Department of Corrections must submit an annual report on offender employment to the Legislative Counsel Bureau by March 1 each year

Report goes to Senate Finance and Assembly Ways and Means committees during sessions, or to the Interim Finance Committee when the Legislature is not in session

Required data includes the number of offenders eligible for employment, number employed, and number who refused employment

Report must detail pay rates, account deductions, and educational attainments of employed offenders, including completion of GED, vocational training, or other approved programs and credentials earned

Must track post-release employment outcomes, specifically the percentage of released offenders who found jobs in the same industries where they worked while incarcerated
