Requires daily room cleaning at resort hotels and hotels with more than 200 guest rooms in counties with population of 100,000+ (currently Clark and Washoe Counties), unless guests opt out or display "do not disturb" signs

Mandates visual inspection of occupied guest rooms by room attendants at least every second consecutive day to ensure guest and public safety at covered hotels

Authorizes health authorities to inspect hotels upon complaint and impose administrative fines of up to $500 for initial violations or $1,000 for subsequent violations

Prohibits hotel operators from retaliating against employees who report violations, participate in enforcement proceedings, or refuse to participate in practices that violate the law

Allows aggrieved persons to file civil lawsuits for regulation violations; effective October 1, 2025 for operational requirements
