Eliminates vicarious liability for employers, making only the person who directly caused an injury liable for damages rather than holding employers responsible for employee actions.

Abolishes joint and several liability in negligence cases, requiring each defendant to pay only their proportionate share of fault; repeals exceptions that previously allowed joint liability for strict liability, intentional torts, toxic substances, concerted acts, and product injuries.

Requires triers of fact to consider fault of all persons who contributed to injury, including non-parties who settled or are identified by defendants before trial, though non-party fault assessments cannot be used to establish liability against those non-parties.

Limits recoverable medical expense damages to amounts actually paid or payable by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, with uninsured plaintiffs capped at 120% of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rates.

Caps attorney fees in workers' compensation proceedings at 20% of any lump sum payment made to injured employees or claimants.
