Extends the maximum termination date for redevelopment plans from 30 years to 50 years for cities with population of 150,000 or more located in counties with population between 100,000 and 700,000 (currently applies only to Reno)

Applies to redevelopment plans and amendments adopted on or after January 1, 1991

Maintains existing 30-year termination requirement for most other redevelopment plans and existing 45-year exceptions for abandoned mine sites and larger jurisdictions (Clark County/Henderson)

May have fiscal impact on local government; no fiscal impact on the state

Becomes effective upon passage and approval
