Expands immunity from civil and criminal liability to include reviewing, providing consultation, or giving medical opinions on photographs, X-rays, and medical tests taken during child abuse or neglect investigations

Authorizes courts to award reasonable attorney's fees and costs to mandatory reporters who prevail in civil lawsuits brought against them for reporting suspected child abuse or performing related investigation activities

Maintains existing immunity protections for making good faith reports, conducting interviews, taking photographs/X-rays, performing medical tests, placing children in protective custody, and participating in judicial proceedings

Effective date: July 1, 2025
