Removes the requirement for the Executive Department's proposed budget to include explanations of how funding will achieve long-term performance goals and intermediate objectives for core governmental functions

Eliminates the mandate for each department, institution, and agency to include mission statements and measurement indicators in budget submissions that track progress toward performance goals

Removes the requirement for the Budget Division to post performance goal information on its website after the Governor transmits the proposed budget to the Legislature

Maintains the requirement for the Office of Economic Development and Office of Energy to analyze costs and benefits of economic development incentives, but eliminates the Chief's duty to establish a reporting schedule tied to the budget process

Effective date: July 1, 2025
