County and city clerks must recruit election board officers for polling places on Indian reservations or Indian colonies unless the tribe affirmatively declines this service.

Clerks must provide at least one training class on mechanical voting systems within the boundaries of the Indian reservation or Indian colony for election board officers staffing those polling places, unless the tribe opts out.

Training must be accessible to election board members either in person or remotely.

The Secretary of State's tribal liaison may assist clerks and tribes in facilitating required communications.

Local governments are exempt from NRS 354.599 provisions regarding any additional expenses incurred from implementing this act.
