Appropriates $1,600,000 from the State General Fund to the University of Nevada, Reno, and $400,000 to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for social work scholarships

Scholarships available to students enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree programs in social work who are completing field practicums at qualifying sites

Qualifying practicum sites include critical access hospitals, rural clinics, rural hospitals, rural emergency hospitals, tribal lands, and counties with populations under 100,000

Additional qualifying sites include HUD-designated qualified census tracts and communities where at least 20% of households are not proficient in English

Funds must be committed by June 30, 2027, fully spent by September 17, 2027, with remaining balances reverting to the State General Fund; effective July 1, 2025
