Department of Education must transfer all pupil data to a departmental archive within 1 year after a student graduates high school or otherwise ceases enrollment in Nevada public schools

All personally identifiable information except birth date must be redacted from pupil data before transfer to the archive

Archived pupil data must be destroyed 10 years after the pupil reaches 22 years of age

Standard state records retention and disposition requirements (NRS 239.080 and 378.320) do not apply to this archived pupil data

"Data" includes information collected under the state's accountability system, such as unique student identification numbers and achievement results
