Nevada ratifies and enters the Interstate Mining Compact, joining other member states to coordinate on mining-related issues including economic impacts, environmental protection, land conservation, and public health and safety

Creates Nevada's participation in the Interstate Mining Commission, with the Governor serving as commissioner (or a designated alternate), entitled to one vote on multi-state decisions regarding mining policy recommendations and resource management

Requires each party state to establish programs for mined land conservation, including protecting landowners from mining damage, reducing adverse effects on land and water, rehabilitating mined lands, and controlling pollution from mining operations

The Governor and Legislature retain the right to inspect Commission books and accounts; the Compact cannot limit, repeal, or supersede any Nevada state law; and Nevada bears no liability for Commission obligations or employee benefit programs

Annual membership dues will be paid by the Division of Minerals Administrator from the Account for the Division of Minerals or authorized federal grants from the U.S. Department of the Interior; effective July 1, 2025
