Controllers of online services directed at Nevada residents must obtain verifiable parental consent before processing personal data or collecting precise geolocation data from children under 13, following federal COPPA requirements

Controllers are prohibited from using children's personal data for targeted advertising, selling the data, or profiling children for decisions affecting financial services, housing, insurance, education, employment, or healthcare

Controllers must limit data collection and processing to what is reasonably necessary to provide the service, and must display a visible indicator whenever collecting a child's precise geolocation data

Controllers offering child-directed online services must conduct and retain data protection assessments for each processing activity, weighing benefits against risks to children's rights and safety

The Attorney General has exclusive enforcement authority, with violators receiving 30 days to remedy violations before facing deceptive trade practice penalties of up to $25,000 per violation; no private right of action is created
