Replaces the term "world language" with "language other than English" throughout Nevada education law and directs conforming changes to administrative regulations

Defines "language other than English" as a form of human communication consisting of sounds, letters, symbols, or signs that enables interaction, cultural understanding, and community connection

Requires the Department of Education to study during the 2025-2026 interim whether teachers seeking endorsement to teach non-English languages should complete training in language acquisition theory, teaching methods, assessment, and best practices

Department must submit a report by August 1, 2026 to the Legislature with recommendations, implementation proposals, and any necessary legislation

Effective July 1, 2025; may have fiscal impact on state and local governments
