Establishes a new Article 27-M in Public Health Law requiring a study on lymphology training requirements for therapists treating lymphedema patients in New York State.

Study shall examine whether requiring all lymphedema therapists to meet training criteria established by the Lymphology Association of North America would improve treatments, patient outcomes, and/or lower overall medical costs.

Department of Health is designated as the lead agency responsible for administering the study and coordinating state policies based on the results.

Study must commence within 30 days of the act's effective date, with results reported to the Governor and Legislature within 6 months of the study's beginning.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
