Chair of the Workers' Compensation Board shall biennially prepare and establish schedules of charges and fees for medical treatment and care, including medical, dental, surgical, optometric services, hospital services, prosthetics, and adaptive devices

Chair must consult with the Board's Medical Director and request reports from relevant professional associations including the New York Physical Therapy Association, New York Osteopathic Medical Society, and Hospital Association of New York State before establishing fee schedules

Employers must pay the fees and charges established in the schedule, though voluntary payment of higher or lower amounts is permitted if authorized by the employer or by board decision

Chair shall publish a revised fee schedule no later than thirty days after the act's effective date, with subsequent biennial schedules published on January 15th every other year

Chair retains authority to make adjustments to fee schedules outside of the biennial publication schedule
