Legislative Description

Creates a conservation easement agreement in a town having a certain population; interests or rights that have been acquired for the purpose of an open space or an open area, shall be partially exempt from local real property taxation, provided that the town enter into a conservation easement agreement; provides that by vote of the town board, the town may opt out of such exemption.
