Authorizes the assessor of the town of Ramapo to accept a late tax exemption application for property located at 35 Post Road in the village of Sloatsburg (section 38.35, block 1, lot 7) for the 2007-2008 assessment roll.

Allows the application to be reviewed as if it was filed by the applicable deadline, notwithstanding the late filing.

Permits the assessor, with approval from the town board, to grant exemption from all taxation beginning from the date the town acquired the property if the town qualifies under real property tax law section 406.

Authorizes the town to refund any taxes already paid on the property and cancel any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, or interest at the discretion of the governing body or tax department.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
