Authorizes the town of Ramapo assessor to accept a late tax exemption application from the town of Ramapo for property located at 105 Orange Turnpike in the village of Sloatsburg (section 38.35, block 1, lot 9) for the 2007-2008 assessment roll.

Allows the assessor to review the late application as if it had been filed by the applicable deadline, notwithstanding normal filing requirements.

Permits the assessor, with town board approval, to grant exemption from all taxation retroactive to the date the village acquired the property if the village would have otherwise qualified for exemption.

Authorizes the town's governing body or tax department to refund any taxes paid on the subject roll and cancel any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, or interest at its sole discretion.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
