Adds a new section to the volunteer firefighters' benefit law creating a presumption that melanoma or cancer affecting lymphatic, digestive, hematological, urinary, or prostate systems is work-related if discovered after a volunteer firefighter passed an initial physical examination upon entry into service.

Covers total or partial disability or death resulting from the specified cancers and melanoma, unless the employer proves otherwise through competent evidence.

The presumption applies only to volunteer firefighters whose initial physical examination showed no evidence of these conditions.

Provisions expire on June 30, 2013.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
