Authorizes the Town of Babylon assessor to accept a late application for real property tax exemption from Long Island Teen Challenge for the parcel at 157 Jefferson Avenue, North Amityville (section 164, block 5, lot 91)

Allows the late application to be reviewed as if filed by the taxable status date for the 2009 assessment roll, notwithstanding normal filing deadlines

Permits the Town of Babylon assessor to grant exemption effective from the date Long Island Teen Challenge acquired the property, provided the organization acquired title between two consecutive taxable status dates and would otherwise qualify for exemption

Requires Town Board of Babylon approval before granting the exemption and before refunding or canceling any taxes, fines, and penalties that were paid or remain unpaid

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
