Waives earnings limitations for retired members of the New York State and Local Police and Fire Retirement System who are employed by the State University of New York or community colleges under SUNY programs

Allows eligible retirees to continue receiving full retirement allowances without loss, suspension, or reduction while employed in these positions

Requires retirees to meet three conditions: retired as a member of the police and fire retirement system, entitled to receive a retirement allowance before employment begins, and granted a waiver by the SUNY chancellor or community college president

Limits waiver eligibility to persons hired as faculty members, chief of police, or director of public safety

Takes effect January 1, 2011
