Amends the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law to exempt the Huguenot Fire Company, Inc. in the Town of Deerpark, Orange County from the 45 percent limit on non-resident volunteer firefighters.

Allows the Huguenot Fire Company to have non-resident members exceed the otherwise mandatory 45 percent threshold that applies to all other fire corporations.

Updates terminology throughout the statute, replacing "fireman" and "firemanic" with "firefighter" and "firefighting."

Changes pronouns from "he" to "he or she" throughout the statute to reflect gender-neutral language.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
