Adds "expose immigration status" as a form of coercion under Penal Law Section 135.60, making it a misdemeanor when used to harm another person, regardless of the actor's knowledge of the immigration status.

Modifies the coercion statute to include threatening or coercing someone to expose their own immigration status as a prohibited act under Penal Law Section 135.65.

Applies to both situations where a person is coerced to reveal another's immigration status and situations where a public servant is coerced to disclose their own immigration status.

Effective date is November 1 following the date the bill becomes law.
