Prohibits polling places from being located on the premises of any public or private elementary or secondary school or preschool facility as defined in Education Law Section 4410.

Removes the existing provision that allowed public school buildings to be designated as polling places with accommodations for voters with disabilities.

Maintains the requirement that publicly owned or leased buildings (other than schools) designated as polling places must provide suitable rooms close to convenient entrances and accessible to voters with disabilities.

Allows boards controlling buildings designated as polling places to request cancellation within 30 days if use would unreasonably interfere with usual building activities, with a 20-day decision deadline.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
