Farm operations and non-residential customer-generators may locate solar, farm waste, or wind electric generating equipment on land they own or lease and direct 100 percent of net metering credits to other meters they own or lease within the same electric corporation's service area

Remote metering locations must be within a 25-mile radius of the generating equipment and within the service territory of the same electric corporation that interconnects the customer-generator's net energy meters

Amends Public Service Law sections 66-j and 66-1 to add new provisions allowing remote net metering for farm and non-residential customer-generators

Effective immediately upon enactment
