Amends tax law sections 210 and 606 to include payments from the state's farmland protection program (administered by the Department of Agriculture and Markets) as federal gross income from farming for eligible farmers.

Allows these farmland protection program payments to count toward the income threshold requirement that eligible farmers must have federal gross income from farming of at least two-thirds of excess federal gross income.

Takes effect immediately and applies to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2011.
