Commissioner of the Office of Mental Health, in consultation with the Department of Education Commissioner, shall develop and publish educational materials on suicide prevention for educators

Materials must include information on depression symptoms, how depression manifests across different cultures, warning signs of suicide, actions to take when a youth is identified as at-risk, and a list of educational websites on suicide and youth

Educational materials shall be made available to educators through the Office of Mental Health website and other appropriate means within ninety days of the act's effective date

Materials may be published in electronic or other formats as determined by the Office of Mental Health Commissioner

Act takes effect immediately upon passage
