Expands the women veterans coordinator position to include making recommendations to the director regarding improvements in benefits and services to women veterans.

Adds liaison responsibilities with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Women Veterans and the VA advisory committee on women veterans, along with military organizations and interested parties.

Requires the coordinator to promote events and activities that recognize, educate and honor women veterans, including seminars required under existing law.

Changes annual reporting requirements from tracking the number of women veterans served to providing a comprehensive description of the coordinator's activities and programs developed during the calendar year.

Consolidates and removes the previous specific duties focused solely on state veterans nursing homes, broadening the coordinator's scope to statewide programs and services for women veterans.
