Adds Suffolk County probation officers to the list of public employees eligible for impartial arbitration procedures to resolve collective bargaining disputes under Civil Service Law Section 209.

Excludes disciplinary procedures, investigations, and eligibility/assignment to details and positions from arbitration coverage for Suffolk County probation officers, which remain governed by other applicable laws.

Applies to both the current version of Section 209 (effective until expiration) and the subsequent version that takes effect after expiration.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment, with provisions sunset in accordance with existing expiration dates for Section 209 amendments.
