Establishes accidental disability retirement benefits for chief fire marshals, assistant fire marshals, division supervising fire marshals, supervising fire marshals, fire marshals, and fire marshal trainees hired on or after July 27, 1976.

Accidental disability retirement allowance equals 75% of final average salary for members physically or mentally incapacitated by work-related accidents not caused by willful negligence.

Members must file written notice of accident with the Comptroller within 90 days, though exceptions apply if workers' compensation notice is filed, application is made within one year, or good cause is shown.

Members who participated in World Trade Center rescue, recovery, or cleanup operations and develop qualifying World Trade Center conditions receive presumptive evidence that the condition resulted from duty-related accidents.

Appropriates $52,000 for state fiscal year 2012-13 to cover pension accumulation fund contributions and estimated costs for approximately 53 affected members in Nassau County.
