Adds new authorization for fire corporations, volunteer fire companies, and fire departments to enter into contracts with each other and municipal corporations for joint purchases of goods, supplies, and services

Defines "municipal corporation" for purposes of joint purchases to include counties, cities, towns, villages, fire districts, and ambulance districts

Requires that joint purchases between fire entities and municipal corporations must comply with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
