Amends distance restrictions for liquor licenses to allow catering licenses in buildings occupied by religious organizations where the organization retains beneficial ownership of the premises.

Clarifies that buildings used as places of worship do not lose their "exclusively" religious character due to incidental uses such as bingo, fund-raising performances, support group meetings, health screenings, and yoga classes.

Expands permissible non-religious uses of worship buildings to include private social, corporate, or charitable functions by non-congregants, regardless of whether those functions relate to the religious organization's activities.

Permits religious organizations to accept payments from third parties using their buildings for functions, whether to defray costs or for the organization's financial benefit.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
