Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance may retain or place limitations on up to 5 percent of federal bonuses awarded for food stamp program performance, with additional retention amounts determined in consultation with local social services districts.

Any bonus portion not retained by the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance must be distributed to local social services districts proportionally based on their contribution to acquiring the bonus.

Local social services districts may use distributed bonus funds for any food and nutrition purpose within their legal authority.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
