Reports must categorize crimes by class including violent felonies, assault, sex offenses, disorderly conduct, harassment, aggravated harassment, and offenses against public sensibilities as defined in the Penal Law

Criminal data must be organized by police precinct, specific subway line, subway transit division, and bus route, with separate tallies for Transit Authority employees, passengers, and other non-employees

Statistics must be compiled monthly and annually, maintained in electronic format, and published on the Department of Records and Information Services website within 90 days of the law's effective date, with monthly updates thereafter

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment
