Allows employers or carriers to require injured workers to obtain prescribed medicines from contracted pharmacies, except in medical emergencies where immediate care is necessary.

Requires employers and carriers to notify claimants of contracted pharmacies' locations, addresses, mail order capabilities, and procedures for filling and refilling prescriptions.

Permits claimants to use pharmacies of their choice if contracted pharmacies lack mail order service or have no physical location within a reasonable distance as defined by regulation.

Prohibits employers and carriers from refusing claimants the right to use pharmacies of their choice as long as the pharmacy's charges comply with published prices.

Entitles pharmacies to sue carriers for unpaid bills and allows the Workers' Compensation Board to award interest of up to one and one-half percent per month on determined amounts owed.

Limits initial prescription fills to a fourteen-day supply, excluding prescriptions written seventy-two or more hours after initial medical care.
